Branding

Image of some designs for Pulse/Discover rebrand

As a designer, expanding and building on a company's brand is important. Visual identity, messaging and collateral pieces help to make it more recognizable; this is even more important when companies merge. After Discover purchased Pulse Network, all communications and collateral pieces needed to be redesigned to follow a similar look and tone.

Leaving a Mark

The Houston Zoo challenged Art Institute designers to come up with fun graphics for a rebrand. I choose to focus on the conservation projects, specifically on the 'Adopt an animal' program. I believed there was an opportunity for the Zoo to have for the first time sponsorship packets.

My concept was to create separate sponsorship packets for all endangered animal supported at the Houston Zoo with promotional items. This included an info-pack about the animal, a reusable fabric carry bag, a recyclable T-shirt and a plush animal. The concept was started at the zoo after my pitch.

Building on Brand

Kravings is customized cake and cupcake company with a unique menu. A bakery that creates original recipes with all the yummy treats that customers like.

This new energetic bakery needed a design that felt modern but classic. It was exciting to design many collateral pieces for the bakery; greeting cards, printed order forms, aprons, cake boxes, napkins, stickers, a mobile app and many more.
